OneSiteProject

OneSiteProject is a project to provide Web presence and present people, places and things that could not have this opportunity easily. There are 1 billion Internet users - 3.5% of them are in Africa. The number of Web pages in the world is estimated to 26 billions – 75% of them predominantly coming from the developed world and written in English. Blogging has become a second nature in the developed world but out of the 36 millions blogs only 10,000 blogs were counted in Africa with a majority of them in South Africa. There are 1 million blogs in India, 4 millions in China and 2 millions in Europe.
[http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm, http://www.worldwidewebsize.com, http://dijest.com/bc/] The project is also about students and interested people to learn about developing and deploying Web sites for real people and getting a smile in return!

For more information about the project, please consult http://onesiteproject.com.
